Student Nurses’ Association (SNA)

The Student Nurses’ Association is a nation wide organization that aims for reaping the Best Nurses by sowing the seeds right from the student period. It was established at the PSG College of Nursing in 1995.

Activities of SNA

The SNA Strives hard for the upliftment of the students through professional, educational, extra curricular activities.

The Executive Board Meeting

The board members met together & planned the activities for the whole year under the guidance of SNA President Dr.A.Jayasudha, Principal & SNA Advisor Prof.Leena.J. The executive committee met regularly to plan & discuss about various activities.

General Body Meeting

The general body meeting was conducted once in two months, where the students expressed their views and probleMs. The participants & winners of various competitions were congratulated.

Educational Activities

The ultimate aim of education is build a confident individual contributing to the upliftment of society.

    • MINERVA QUIZ COMPETITION 2017
    • Six students participated in ‘Minerva quiz competition’ as two groups organized by Gokulam College of Nursing, Salem on 21st April 2017 and won the First prize with rolling trophy.

      • IMA – QUIZ towards International Nurses Day – 2016
      • Students from BSc(N), MSc (N) and faculty also participated in the Medical Quiz conducted by the Indian Medical Association, Coimbatore branch at IMA Hall, Coimbatore on 20.04.2016. This was to mark the International Nurses Day, May, 8th 2016. Totally 10 members participated in the competition (Two faculty, 2 PG students and 6 UG students). Out of 31 teams participated, we won the 1st and III prizes. Prize Winners were awarded with trophies and certificates.

      Certificates and prizes were given for the students and also two awards for the college for motivating the students. Prof Meera Saravanan co-ordinated the programme. Dr.G.Malarvizhi, encouraged and appreciated the students for their success and she asked the students to motivate their peers to continue the good work.

    • Students participated in ‘Intercollegiate Quiz Competition’ held at ‘Vinayaka Missions Annapoorna College of Nursing, Salem on 29.1.16 and won The First Prize. Students won the trophy consecutively for the past three years , the rolling trophy will be retained by our Institution permanently.

    Professional Activities

    It was decided to circulate the Nursing Journal of India to all SNA GB members and one volunteer will presented it during every GB meeting. The students had participated for XXVI SNA Tamil Nadu State Biennial Conference at Chithirai College of Nursing, Madurai from 9th to 11th April 2015. Among the competition PSG College of Nursing has won the II place for scientific paper presentation which is selected to National Level SNA Biennial Conference which is scheduled in November 2015 at Chathisgarh.

    1 July 2017. Farewell
    • SNA bid farewell to the final year (2013 batch) B.Sc(N) students on 28th July with variety show and refreshments. The students had cherished their good moments with their seniors. SNA election was conducted on 19th July and the results were announced by the Principal during the farewell.

      • They had participated in XXVII SNA State Biennial Conference, held at Sardar Rajas College of Nursing, Kavalikinaru Junction, Tirunelveli.
        Eighty four students (65 Girls & 19 Boys) from I to IV year along with 3 faculty had gone.
        They participated in 22 competitions including educational, cultural and sports events.
        Ms Manju Parkavi V (2015 Batch) had bagged the First prize for Adaptune and Ms Geerthy (2016 Batch) had secured Second place in Javelin throw.
      • SNA had called for a General Body meeting on 29.06.2017. With a silent prayer, the meeting commenced at 2.30 pm. Vice President Ms Pandiselvi T (2013 Batch) welcomed the gathering. The Vice President Ms Pandiselvi T (2013 Batch), Ms Nimisha Varghese, Secretary (2014 Batch), Ms Soniya A (2014 batch)Treasurer, and Ms Sangeetha (2014 Batch) had presented reports about International Nurses Day Celebration, Previous minutes of GB meeting, Accounts details from 21.09.2016 to 29.06.2017, reports of Biennial Conference respectively. The Principal Dr A Jayasudha addressed the student body and motivated to be punctual and to be energetic in all their endeavours. Ms Sowmiya, Assistant Secretary (2015 Batch) gave vote of thanks. The meeting adjourned at 4.15 pm.
      3 May 2017. International Nurses Day
      • SNA has observed the International Nurses Day on 12th May, 2017 with Debate on the theme of the day “Nurses a voice to lead-achieving sustainable goals”. Students and faculty had organized a fund raising programme with a variety of on stage performance and eatables, etc., to meet the expense of the XXVII State SNA Biennial Conference which is to be held in June 2017

      • Ms.Jothi Meena K and Ms.Priyah A, two students participated in the quiz competition organized by Indian Medical Association in view of observing International Nurses Day on 26.04.2017.
      • Students have participated in the Science Fair conducted by PSG College of Pharmacy in view of observing World Earth Day on 19th and 20th April 2017.
      5 March 2017. General Body Meeting
      • General Body Meeting was held on 2nd March. Principal (President of the Association), SNA Advisor, Sports Coordinator, All the Class Coordinators of UG & PG were present. All the SNA members had gathered.
      • Discussed that the final year students (2013 batch) will only be organizing not participating in the sports events. The events will be conducted batch wise not by group wise.
      • The Principal said that after the Sports meet, we can think of the Cultural programmes. They were explained about not to have with the title of “ Fresher’s day” programme due to Anti ragging policy but can have cultural programme along with ‘Indian Experience’ and ‘Farewell to outgoing batch’, etc.
      6 January 2017. Collage competition held at PSG Hospitals
      • Students had participated for the Collage competition held at PSG Hospitals conducted by the Dietary Dept on ‘National Dietetics Day’ observed on 10.01.2017 with the theme on “Eat Healthy; Stay Healthy” . Ms P Mahalakshmi & Ms T Chithiraiselvi (II B Sc N) won the I prizes and Ms Jeevan Sneha & Ms Anjugam (III B Sc N) secured the Consolation prizes.

      1 November 2016. Vinayaka Missions College of Nursing, Salem Quiz Competition.
      • SNA has sponsored four students to Vinayaka Missions College of Nursing, Salem Quiz Competition. They were one of the 11 teams who went for Quiz programme.
      • At PSG College of Nursing, Spread Knowledge GK exam on Indian Sports Awards conducted. 25 students had participated from all the 4 batches of B Sc Nursing.
      2 November 2016. Inter Nursing College Sports Meet
      • The Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University Inter Nursing College Sport Meet- 2016 “Robust Rivalry” was hosted by Sre Sakthi Mayeil Institute of Nursing & Research at J.K. K. Nattraja Educational Institutions, Komarapalayam, Namakkal District on 25th & 26th of November 2016. Totally 51 colleges participated. 35 students (19 Girls & 16 Boys) from PSG College of Nursing participated in various track and field events and won prizes. The details are given below:
      • Mr.Masthan, IV year B.Sc (N) student was the ‘Winner’ in Badminton singles and he backed the II prize in shotput.
      • Mr.Vishnu Hari Prasad, II year B.Sc (N) student got the III prize in 1500 mts
      • Girls got the ‘Runner up’ in throw ball.
      3 September 2016. Farewell & Teachers’ day
      • On the 12th September, Teachers’ day was observed. Farewell was given to the outgoing batch. The students gave a report on visit to Switzerland on Student Exchange Programme. SNA election results were announced. New office bearers have taken over the position.
      4 August 2016. Trishnah – 2016 – Inter Collegiate Quiz Programme
      • Six of 2012 batch students had participated ‘Trishnah – 2016’ – Inter Collegiate Quiz Programme conducted by Punnya Foundation at CMS College of Arts & Commerce, Ganapathy, Coimbatore on 10.08.2016.
      5 May 2016. International Nurses Day
      • In view of International Nurses Day, essay writing competition was conducted on 12.05.16 on the theme “Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving health systems’ resilience”. Eleven NSS volunteers participated in the competition and the winners were awarded with prizes.
      6 April 2016. IMA – QUIZ on 20.04.2016 towards International Nurses Day – 2016

      • All India Essay Writing Event 2015 by Shri Ram Chandra Mission and V N Information Centre was conducted on “The man who has no inner life is a slave to his surrounding held on Sep 10th , 2015. Mr Prabhu G (IV year) student has participated and acknowledged.
      9 January 2016. Intercollegiate Quiz Competition
      • Three IV year B.Sc(N) students 2012 batch participated and won 1st place in the Intercollegiate Quiz Competition conducted at Vinayaka Missions Annapoorna College of Nursing, Salem on 29.01.2016.       • SNA celebrated Christmas Day and New Year on 18th December 2015 with carols and cultural.
      2 November 2015. Deepavalli and Freshers’ Day
      Inter Collegiate Sports Meet at KMCH College of Nursing at the University level.
      • SNA had celebrated Deepavalli and Freshers’ Day.
      • Forty two students had participated Inter Collegiate Sports Meet at KMCH College of Nursing at the University level. One of the I year student, Mr Vishnu Hari Prasadh had secured II place for 800 mts running.
      3 October 2015. Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s Birthday
      • SNA had observed Dr APJ Abdul Kalam’s Birthday and taken oath on 15th October as it was his 84th Birthday.
      4 September 2015. Teachers’ Day, Onam & had Farewell for outgoing batch, SNA Election Results
      • SNA had celebrated Teachers’ Day, Onam & had Farewell for outgoing batch, SNA Election Results announcement, New Executive Body members took over the office. Students who had been to Switzerland on Student Exchange Programme presented about their visit.
      • SNA to TNAI membership towards TNAI Life Membership has been sent for 87 students.
      5 July 2015. GB meeting
      • SNA GB meeting was held along with election on 17th July for the student vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and various committee representatives.
      6 May 2015. “International Nurses’Day”
      • Student Nurses had observed the International Nurses’ day 2015 on 12th May 2015 with Extempore competition. It was conducted in Tamil, English and Malayalam. Prizes were distributed for the winners.

      • “XXVI SNA Biennial Conference
      • ‘Minerva’ Quiz competition”
      • Fifteen students had participated for XXVI SNA Tamilnadu State Biennial Conference at Chithirai College of Nursing, Madurai from 9th to 11th April 2015. Students had taken part in scientific presentation, Poster presentation , poetry recitation, pencil drawing and sports events like shotput, javelin throw, 100mt and Ms. & Mr.SNA.
        Among the competition PSG College of Nursing has won the II place for scientific paper presentation which is selected to National Level SNA Biennial Conference which is scheduled in November 2015 at Chathisgarh.
      • The following students have participated in ‘Minerva’ Quiz competition held at ‘Gokulam College of Nursing, Salem on 21.4.15 and won the first and second prizes.

      • The B.Sc Nursing students have registered for the Tamilnadu State XXVI SNA Biennial Conference to be held from 9th to 11th April 2015 at Chittirai College of Nursing, Madurai for various events like sports, poster, health education and scientific paper presentation.

      1 December 2014. “Christmas and New Year Celebration”,World AIDS Day
      • SNA Has organized the chirstmas and New Year programme on 18.12.2014 at 3 p.m. in the V floor examination hall. Students had organized cultural events and skit. The Principal and Vice-Principal wished the students for the joyful and prosperous New Year.
      • NSS and SNA have jointly observed the World AIDS Day (1st December) on 5th December, 2014 at PSG College of Nursing with an Elocution Competition on the theme of the 2014, “Getting to Zero” for the nursing students. 27 students had participated. Prize winners were awarded for I, II, & III place. All the participants were certified.
      2 October 2014. “Diwali Celebration” in PSG Sarvajana Manavar Illam
      • PSG College of Nursing SNA Unit as a part of their activities, office bearers and members had visited PSG Sarvajana Manavar Illam on 16.10.2014. Students spent their valuable time with the inmates after 6 pm and distributed stationaries to the inmates (67 childrens) for the worth Rs. 15,000/-. Inmates were very happy.
        Unit had celebrated Diwali on 18.10.14 at 3.30 pm. Students had put up cultural programmes. Sweets were distributed.
      3 August 2014. “Onam and Teacher’s Day Celebration”
      • The farewell to seniors, Onam and the Teacher’s Day were celebrated on 28.8.2014 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Previous student executive members handed over the responsibilities to the newly elected student representatives.
        Ms. Vanidevi.D was unanimously elected as Vice-President and Ms. Raveena.M as Secretary. Election was held for other posts also.
        During the programme, students shared their Summer University experience at Lausanne, Switzerland- during June 2014.
      4 May 2014. “GB Meeting” & International Nurses Day Celebration”
      • General Body Meeting was held on 14th May 2014 in May 2014, in gallery class room at PSG College of Nursing. The meeting commenced by 4.30 p.m. The agenda discussed were: Thanks giving to former SNA Advisor and welcoming the new SNA Advisor

      • International Nurses Day Celebration
        As part of International Nurses Day, the SNA Unit of PSG College of Nursing celebrated Nurses Day on 15th May 2014 with a film show on ‘Florence Nightingale and Hisory of Nursing’ followed by elocution competition on the theme ‘Nurses : A force for change, vital resource for health’. First prize was won by Vani Devi D, 2011 batch, II prize was won by Shuba, 2012 batch and third prize was shared between Steffie Jose and Litty V Lalu of 2010 batch. The programme was ended by 5 p.m.
      5 April 2014. “EB Meeting”
      • An executive body meeting of SNA was held on 15th April 2014. Mrs.Leena J, Associate Professor took over as the SNA Advisor of the College from Prof.Meera Saravanan in the presence of Principal and Vice-Principal. They plan a social service activities from the funds raised from the Ujvala 2014 was discussed.
      6 March 2014. “Ujvala 2014″
      • Ujvala 2014 is an intra collegiate cultural and fund raising programme to support social causes. It was held on March 15th 2014 at examination hall of V floor. The programme was inaugurated by Principal Prof.Elizabeth Jean Abraham, College of Nursing at 9.20 a.m. Presidential address was given by Principal and she declared the Ujvala – 2014 open. The day was moved on with a splash of colourful events one after the other. the stalls for food and games adored the other side of the veranda.
      • Various cultural events like mime, group dance, quiz, dumb chards, fashion show, Ms./Mr personality were conducted and the best three performances were awarded with prizes. The funds raised on the day will be utilized to support one deserving paediatric patient at PSG Hospitals and towards supply of stationeries for the Manavar Illam students.
        The programme came to an end by 8.30 p.m. Faculty and students had a memorable cultural day.

      • SNA donated purse money of Rs.5,000/- at the National Biennial SNA conference, Surat which has been published in the TNAI Bulletin, January 2014.

      • SNA contributed Rs.1,100/- for the students Ms. Saranya S , Ms Narayani D and Ms. Kanmani J participated in “Neonatology” quiz conducted in Vinayaka Missions Annapoorna College of Nursing , Salem and secured I prize in the competition.
      02 NOVEMBER 2013. XXV SNA National Biennial Conference at Surat, Gujarat hosted by the Government College of Nursing.Day 1 : There was pre-conference meeting on registration
      Day 2 : Competition on various sports or poster events were conducted
      Day 3 : Release of souvenir and scientific paper presentation went on Mr/Ms.SNA Competition was held
      Day 4: Variety entertainment was held. Prizes and certificates were distributed.
      • Ms.Steffie Jose and Mr.Sathish attended the conference at Surat, Gujarat hosted by the Government College of Nursing. The theme was ‘New dimension in Nursing’.
      03 OCTOBER 2013. XXV SNA State Level Biennial Conference at JKK College of Nursing, Komarapalayam.
      • Students attended XXV SNA State Level Biennial Conference at JKK College of Nursing, Komarapalayam. Students from PSG College of Nursing participated in all the events of educational, cultural & sports and won few prizes. First place was awarded for scientific paper and adaptune. Paper presentation on ‘A study to assess the effectiveness of simulation technique in teaching learning process of CPR among nursing students at PSG College of Nursing, Coimbatore was done by Ms.Santhosh Priya of IV year B.Sc Nursing and it was guided by Prof.Meera Saravanan, SNA Advisor. This paper was published in the conference Souvenir. Students secured 2nd place in Javelin throw, throw ball, Ms.SNA, Mr.SNA and also 3rd place in face painting, vegetable carving and poster presentation on ‘Future of nursing educator in India’. SNA Vice-President and Secretary will attend the XXV SNA National Biennial conference at Surat from 13th to 17th November 2013.
      04 Sptember 07/09/2013 20.09.2013. Uttarakand Disaster management & Relief Fund,EB meeting,GB meeting, SNA-EB Election & XXV State SNA Biennial Conference, a unit level competition
      • Ms.Santhoshpriya presented a paper on “Knowledge on e-waste among the youths of PSG Institute of Paramedical & Medical Sciences” at the seminar on Prof. Meera Saravanan accompanied the student and attended the seminar.
      • SNA celebrated onam, farewell to outgoing students, SNA handing over ceremony with announcement of election results for the post of Vice-President Ms.Steffy Jose, Secretary Mr.Sathish and Treasurer Mr.Nithyabalan. The students exchange programme experience was shared by the students who went to Lausanne, Switzerland -Summer University Programme during June 2013 .
      • As a preliminary preparation of XXV State SNA Biennial Conference, a unit level competition was conducted on 20.09.13. The best students for each event were selected & registered for the State Level Conference on 3rd, 4th and 5th October ’13. Ninety two students are registering for the various academic and cultural competitions for the conference. Two faculty will accompany the students each day from PSG to Annai JKK College of Nursing, Komarapalayam.

      • EB meeting was held with the agenda of XXX SNA Biennial Conference; appreciate Swiss return students, election of new EB members2013-2014.
      • Principal discussed about the suggestions made through the suggestion box and the same agenda of EB was discussed.
      • Students casted their votes. Results are kept confidential.
      06 May 07.05.2013. International Nurses Day, General Body Meeting & SNA Biennial Conference
      • As part of the International Nurses Day celebration, a quiz programme was conducted on 7th May 2013. The preliminary round was conducted at 1.30 p.m. The final round was conducted at 5 p.m. The winners of the programme were Steffie Jose P and Saranya S of Aristas 2010 batch. The first runners up were Tamilselvan and Shanthi. The quiz was conducted by quiz mistress Ms.Jerrin Ann Joseph and Ms.Caroline Rachel Jacob.
      • General Body Meeting: A farewell party was given for the Vice-Principal Prof.T.Nirmala. Thanks giving speech was given by the Vice-President and SNA Advisor of College SNA Unit.
      • SNA Biennial Conference: A scientific paper on ‘Effectiveness of simulation technique in the teaching learning process of CPR among B.Sc Nursing students’ was sent to the State SNA Nursing Conference to be held at Annai JKK Sampoorani Ammal College of Nursing, Erode.

      • The agendas discussed were on magazine subscriptions and advertisements to be made for ‘Finesse-2013’.

      08 March International Women’s Day celebration
      • As a part of International Women’s Day celebration, an eloquotion competition and a slogan writing competition was held for students of PSG College of Nursing. Students were allowed to speak in any of the three languages viz., English, Tamil and Malayalam on the theme ‘General agenda – gaining, momentum’. The programme was headed by Principal. The luckiest teachers were also picked up by lot. The prize winners name were announced at the culmination of event. The programme ended by 5.30 p.m.
      09 February 28.02.2013. National Science Day
      • A talk was given by Dr.Sudhakar, Professor of Tamilnadu Agricultural University on the theme ‘Genetically modified food crops and food security’. The session culminated with doubts and clarifications from faculty which was answered by the professor.
      10 January 07.11.2013 19.01.2013 28.01.2013. Summer Exchange Programme – Swiss students Visit,Moments 2013,EB Meeting & GB Meeting
      • PSG College of Nursing for welcoming the students of Sandiego State University and Swiss University. The programme started by 3.10 pm. The host performed various entertainment programmes representing the cultural heritages of Indian sub-continent. The students from USA and Switzerland also presented programme like group song and presentation about their lifestyle and famous places in Switzerland & USA. The programme culminated at 5pm.
      • Moments 2013 On January 19th about 49 students from our college participated in the Intercollege Cultural – ‘Moments 2013’ at GKNM and Mani’s School in Pappanaickenpalayam, Coimbatore. The programmes were scheduled from 8.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. The students won prizes in most of the events participated. We won the third place in the overall championship.

      • The EB members discussed about forthcoming National Science Day on February 28th, planning for Ujvala 2013 on 23rd March organizing the programme for fund raising and discussed on roles of each EB member in organizing events.
      • GB Meeting The agenda discussed were on:
        The poster presentation and panel discussion on the theme “Genetically modified crops and food security” for “National Science Day”
        Suggestion box was opened and some of the suggestions are considered.
        Congratulated the winners of Moments 2013.
        Planning for Ujjvala 2013, and
        Report reading was done by the Treasurer. Queries and doubts raised by the students were answered and clarified.

      01 December 17.17.2012 02.12.2012. Sing the season,Visit to Snehalaya & Trifesta
      • Students from PSG College of Nursing participated in the ‘Sing The Season 2012’ organized by Achi Masala.
      • The Student Nurses Association had decided to help the underprivileged, poverty – stricken group of population. This year, in view of AIDS Day, on 2nd December 2012, the members of SNA donated 2 foot balls and sanitary napkins of worth Rs.1,500/- to the organization ‘Snehalaya’ where the HIV positive children are looked after They have conducted games for inmates and distributed prizes.
      • The programme was colourful with events featuring the festivals – Christmas – New year and Pongal. The programme was held between 4 p.m. and 5.15 p.m.

      • The agenda discussed were about ‘Trifesta’ planning. Also discussed on the responsibilities of each EB members in organizing programmes. A fixed amount of Rs.1,500/- is decided to help the children of Snehalaya (A Home for HIV children). It’s been decided to financially support to II year B.Sc(N) student with a sum of Rs.5,000/-.

      • The agenda discussed were welcoming the new GB members of 2012 batch, selecting the EB members from 2012 batch for the invitation committee and hall arrangement committee. Planning for Deepavali, freshers day and childrens day celebrations and emphasizing the importance of anti-ragging to all members of SNA.

      • EB meeting was held with 11 newly elected member headed by SNA Advisor Prof.Meera Saravanan. The agenda of the meeting included an orientation and welcome for newly elected members, discussion of responsibilities of each EB member and planned for the upcoming Alzheimer’s Day and GB meeting along with freshers.

      • Raised the fund to support social causes. Faculty sponsored food preparations. Students sold raffles. Prof Elizabeth Jean Abraham, Dr Pavai Arunachalam and Dr Grorge Zacharias sponsored raffle prizes. Rs 62027/- was the profit.

      • Won 3rd place. Prizes in extempore, bridal make up, fashion show, essay writing, mehendi, rangoli, adaptune & Miss Moments.
      • Decision was taken to spend for social service.Contributed Rs.3000/- for a child, sandhiya who underwent brain surgery in female ortho ward at PSG hospitals.
      • Won 1st place. Prizes in relay, 1500mts, 400mts, 100mts & long jump.
      • Students sold flags to all & raised the fund.

      • SNA Vice President Ms.Cibi Esther and SNA Secretary Ms.Santhosh Priya attended the XXIV SNA National Biennial Conference at Bangalore.
      • Ms.Keerthana & Ms.Priya Rachel presented their scientific paper on ‘A study to assess the knowledge and attitude on leadership in relation to healthcare delivery among nursing students at PSG College of Nursing, Coimbatore during the conference.
      • Received the Souvenir from Apollo College of Nursing, Chennai for the State Level Biennial Conference, where 2 articles have been published by SNA Unit of PSG College of Nursing, Coimbatore on ‘An exploratory study to elicit the opinion regarding the concept of leadership role in Nursing among health care professional in selected hospitals of Coimbatore.

      • Won 4th place. Presented a paper & published a paper in the souvenir. Won 2nd place in Hair do & Talent Night. 3rd prize in Running. 28 students went to Chennai Apollo college of nursing.

      • students were selling the flag as a fund rising event. The scientific paper was selected for presentation, the student researchers being Ms Keerthana.B and Ms Priya Rachel Johns. The guide was Prof Meera Saravanan. The SNA elections were conducted for the new EB members by Vice President in the presence of SNA advisor.

      • MOHAN Foundation Conducted competition among college students in Coimbatore on the theme “Donate Organ Save Lives”. Our students Participated and won Prizes.

      01 December 10 Day for Physically & Mentally Challenged World AIDS Day TRIFESTA
      • The volunteers went to Cheshire home & conducted cultural program & gave sweets to all inmates & five liters of oil. 15 Student volunteer went to SHANTHI ASHRAM and performed the cultural dance cum skit on the theme “Stop discrimination of the affected people”.
      • Festival of Christmas, New Year, Pongal was organized by 2007 batch. The SNA presented a cultural program followed by the tableau on Birth of Almighty & arrival of Santa Clause

      • Red ribbon express was conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu to create awareness about the killer AIDS. 2007 Batch of students visited the Red Ribbon Express.
      • Students organized and participated actively in the sports meet 2010 and the overall trophy was won by 2008 batch students.

      01 November 09 RAMAKRISHNA MATH MISSION ESSAY COMPETETION
      • For the international youth day Ramakrishna Mission had conducted Essay competition.
      • 52 students participated, 31 in Tamil version and 21 were in English version.
      02 October 09 XXIII STATE SNA BIENNIAL CONFERENCE, XXIII NATIONAL SNA BIENNIAL CONFERENCE, ZOTICUS.
      • XXIII State SNA Biennial Conference was conducted in CCN Neyoor. 56 students from our SNA unit participated for various competitions.
      • We won the 2nd and 3rd price for the scientific paper presentation among 26 papers presented.
      • Among 57 groups participated our group won the first price for talent night.
      • Ms. Priya Varghese(2006 batch) and Ms. Anusha Rani(2007 batch) attended the National Biennial conference which was conducted in Culcutta.
      • Many students participated in ZOTICUS which was organized by CMC Vellore.
      • Ms. Nirosha A(2006 batch) won the 3rd price in relay.

      • Celebrated along with NSS unit Students participated in slogan and tableau competition. Students of 2006 batch won the First prize for tableau based on the theme “DO DRUGS CONTROL YOUR LIFE, YOUR LIFE & YOUR COMMUNITY.”
